Hopefully first thing on the menu is the new Google/Asus 7in tablet, and that’s not entirely biased on me being on UK time and it being the end of the working day here.
I am loving the RessurectionRemix custom ROMs for the sgs2. It’s been a while getting to this stage, but the bug laden journey has been worth it. Android is the present and future
There seems to be a fortunate relationship in circumstances when it comes to the time of my mobile phone contract renewal and the unveiling of the premier device to have on. After fun times with a SonyEricsson Cyershot phone, my life with Android started with the HTC Hero, also known as the T-mobile G2 Touch. This was the device that put HTC out there and they followed it up with the now classic Desire. In the meantime the Samsung Galaxy S simmered as a close second, and exploded with the SGS2. The HTC Sensation along with the plethora of other HTC devices could not compete, this was highlighted by the fact Google moved on from the Nexus, which was a Desire at heart, on to Samsung to provide the next installment of it’s Nexus series.
Now it seems HTC are looking to consolidate it’s offerings and produce a series that offers the same level of physical features that the SenseUI provides for software. A focus on the camera and sound are areas that appeal greatly to me, as did performance and screen when the SGS2 came out. With the hardware spec matching up with expectations for an upgraded device, the HTC One looks like it’ll be my next purchase, whether it be the S or X.
Hightail it to the android market and check out the ‘10 Billion’ offer Android are running over the Xmas hols. 10 premium apps available for 10p, or cents depending on your local currency, for the next 10 days. Just check out the reviews to see how worth it an offer it is. BOOM.
